Sometimes you have to focus on exactly what the fish are wanting, this late summer pattern was focused on SMALLER lures mimicking the smaller bait fish the bass are feeding on right now! Fall is almost here, and I am excited to get out there!
We turned a tough trip into a win! Had a client out for his first guided trip, the first 3 hours were not good, only a few small bites and one small fish landed. After we realized the water was too stained where we were fishing, we moved uplake to an area with clearer water, and landed over 10 fish in the last hour 1/2 of fishing. The go-to baits were a 3" swimming grub from Galida's Grubz and a Rooster Tail. Fishing is overall very good right now, hit us up for a trip!
