Pre frontal fishing!  Had Mike out for a 1/2 day AM trip this week just before the latest cold front hit. Mike is an avid angler with many years of experience under his belt, and was an excellent fishing companion as well! Trip cut short by an hour by Mike's request due to the cold front hitting with higher than expected winds and rain, but we still managed to put over 10 fish in the boat, and Mike lost a nice 4lb bass right at the boat! Thanks Mike for being a great guest!

We turned a tough trip into a win! Had a client out for his first guided trip, the first 3 hours were not good, only a few small bites and one small fish landed. After we realized the water was too stained where we were fishing, we moved uplake to an area with clearer water, and landed over 10 fish in the last hour 1/2 of fishing. The go-to baits were a 3" swimming grub from Galida's Grubz and a Rooster Tail. Fishing is overall very good right now, hit us up for a trip!

Fishing is HOT right now, and as the weather cools, it will get HOTTER! Fish are feeding up for winter, and are hugging the shoreline and are falling for a variety of baits including shallow crankbaits, spinnerbaits, topwaters and swimbaits. Let's get out there!

Sometimes I just love to explore a new place. In this episode, I wade around this TINY creek with my Microlight setup. Rooster Tails and Micro Crankbaits were the ticket! Let's get out there and catch a few! Creek Fishing
